Who I am

Róisín Kearney Aesthetics, Aster Rooms, 14 Camden Quay, Cork, T23 XY45. I am the data controller for the information described here. You can reach me at hello@roisinkearney.ie.

What I collect

Contact details you give me through the enquiry form or by message: your name, and your phone number or email address, along with anything you choose to tell me about what you are interested in.

If you go on to book a treatment, I also collect the medical history, consent records and treatment notes required to treat you safely. These are health records and are held to a higher standard than general contact data.

Basic, anonymous analytics about how this website is used, but only if you accept analytics cookies.

Why I use it

To answer your enquiry, arrange and confirm appointments, assess your suitability for treatment, keep the clinical records I am professionally required to keep, and send you aftercare information.

Lawful basis

For enquiries and appointments, the lawful basis is the steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and my legitimate interest in running the practice. For health records, the lawful basis is the provision of healthcare by a regulated health professional. For marketing messages, the basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Sharing

I do not sell your data and I do not share it for advertising. I share it only with the service providers that make the practice work, such as my booking and payment providers, and with a regulator, insurer or medical professional where I am legally or professionally required to do so.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months. Clinical records are retained for the period required by professional guidance for health records, which is generally eight years from your last treatment.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information I hold, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it where I am not required to keep it, object to processing, or ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@roisinkearney.ie and I will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

This site uses essential cookies to function. Analytics cookies are only set once you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time.
